This Adelphi Clynelish is a refill bourbon hogshead which produced 247 bottles. This whisky is all about a biscuit tin in a sweet shop with the door open to a summer day in the Highlands.
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| Adelphi - Slightly prickly nose, increases
as the whisky warms and begins to open.
Initial dried mixed herbs, with a trace of
Chartreuse; then vanilla ice cream and
set honey behind, with a traditional
Danish wood oil. Water immediately
raises the keynote candlewax you expect
from Clynelish, with coconut biscuits abd
vanilla creams. |

| Adelphi - Mouthcoating, with a light
sweetness and lively acidity, and a curious
(natural) liquorice saltiness, with coconut
and vanilla. |
| Finish |
| Adelphi - A medium length, warming finish
and lingering summer whin flowers in the
aftertaste. |
