This area comprises of all of mainland Scotland above the Highland Boundry Fault Line, except from the area known as Speyide.

The whisky produced in this region is as diverse as the land it is made in. No matter what style of whisky you are loking for there will be a highland malt up to the task. From light ozone flavours, delicate floral notes, rounder richer dried fruits and nuts, subtle smoke to powerful peat, this region can offer it all and all generally with a good full body.
