This Banff from Gordon & MacPhail was distilled in August 1976 and bottled in December 2010 from refill sherry hogsheads. One bottle per customer.
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| G&M - Sweet, with a subtle citrus nose -
fresh lemons. Some rum and raisin and
hints of sherried wood. With water initial
rum and raisin notes, with hints of sweet
Sherry. Some subtle summer fruits notes
emerge and linger. |
| Taste |
| G&M - Smooth and sweet - marshmallow.
A rounded hint of spice develops, and
becomes mouth warming. With water
smooth and silky, with a pronounced
sweet Sherry edge. Mouth warming with
a hint of chilli warmth. |
