Distillery bottling Glenglassaugh Octave Cask (Peated)
This is your chance to buy a newly filled Glenglassaugh Octave for £600. When filled an Octave contains approximately 50 litres of lightly peated new make spirit at 63.5% ABV. The casks have been crafted from specially selected staves from larger casks previously used to mature Scotch Whisky. Your choice of inscription will be stencilled on the head of the cask. You will also receive a certificate of ownership with a photograph of your cask. Your cask will be matured at Glenglassaugh distillery from between 3 to 7 years. You will be sent a cask sample once a year. You are also free to visit your cask whenever you want, all you need to do is give them a little advanced warning. Once you have completed the check-out process on The WSD site your details will be passed to Glenglassaugh. At this point The WSD steps away from the transaction and Glenglassaugh will take-over including taking the payment of £500.
