This Old & Rare Highland Park was distilled in March 1978 and bottled in March 2011 from a sherry butt which produced 207 bottles. This is a cracking and different Highland Park.
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| DL - Rounded, full, spiced and with a
(dark)
fruit style initially on the nose - it
warms
later to citrus and old fashioned furniture
polish. |
| Taste |
| DL - It is big - immediately and warmly
spiced with a camphor type interesting
domination - softening to vanilla toffee. |
| Finish |
| DL - Toffee replicated on the early finish
which turns once again into a spicy and
full
warmth. |
